Inquisitors

Inquisitors are your followers, who, like the Hero, take part in marches, improve the military characteristics of your army, and increase the economic stats of your Town. They also fight against Apostates and Apostate Masters.

Each Inquisitor has their own unique bonuses – Blessings. Only the appointed Inquisitor's bonuses are active and not those of all summoned Inquisitors.

An Inquisitor's maximum level is limited by their Dignity. There are six Dignities in the game: basic, minor, standard, major, supreme, and absolute. The higher the Dignity, the higher the level an Inquisitor can reach and the greater the bonus provided by their Blessings. To increase an Inquisitor's Dignity, you need the relevant Inquisitor's Candles.

Summoning and appointing an Inquisitor

To summon Inquisitors, upgrade the Palace to level 12 and build the Hall of Justice. Once you have done so, you will be able to summon your first Inquisitor, Adrian Architect. To summon other Inquisitors, you will need their personal Candles.

The appointed Inquisitor, summoned ones, and the Inquisitors who can be summoned are all displayed in the Inquisitors tab of the Hall of Justice. By hitting the "Appoint" button, you can change the active Inquisitor.

Inquisitor's Doctrines

Each time an Inquisitor's level increases, they receive Doctrine points. Use these to develop the Inquisitor. Upgrading Doctrines will enhance the Inquisitor and give you military and economic bonuses.

A Doctrine will start providing its bonuses as soon as you have spent at least one point on its development. The icons of any active Doctrines are in color, while inactive ones are gray. To redistribute Doctrine points, use the Purge item.
